Michelle Jamieson is a ceramic and multidisciplinary artist hailing from Stratford, ON. With a B.F.A.
from York University, she has spent the past 20 years conjuring up theatrical magic as a prop maker.
In conjunction with theatre work Michelle explored painting and sculpture before discovering
ceramics—a medium she is now dedicated to pursuing full time. She recently completed the
Ceramics program at Fleming/Haliburton School of Art and Design, where she was awarded the
Fusion Clay Award and the academic achievement award.

Michelle has an obsession with Cats and uses them to channel her awkward life lled with mischief
and dancing onto vessels, sculptural forms and functional pieces.

Her life mission is clear: to cultivate joy through her art, one lump of clay at a time.
