My name is E.C Dimock and I am a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on collage, sound design and music. My work explores our relationship as humans to the natural world and the alternative subcultures we create to feel more at home within it. This focus was born out of growing up in rural regions on the east coast of Canada then coming to Ontario, discovering and becoming heavily involved in the subcultures of punk/radical artwork/skateboarding, all of which are intertwined. I have never been able to uncouple the extreme nature of these subcultures and the same elements that exist within humankind and in the natural world.
