I began my artistic journey as an adventure into discovering the history of fiber creation. This interest sparked a creative direction in using historical practices of creating textiles for both practical and artistic use.
The practice of tatting transitioned into a passion for working with other forms of fiber creation including, nalbinding, knotting, sprang, and the art of felting.
My hope is to bring relevance to historical techniques of fiber creation and create contemporary interest in these ancient practices.
