Christine’s love of all things creative led her to completing an Art History degree at Queen’s University. She spent 32 years teaching with the Waterloo District School Board, specializing in Visual Art for Grades 2-8. A rewarding career in the past, she has thrown herself into her own artistic endeavours with a passion!
Having participated in a variety of both watercolour and acrylic painting workshops (most notably the Haliburton School of Art and Design) and several art shows, Christine has focussed the majority of her paintings on the beauty of the Canadian landscape. Capturing the essence of each scene in a celebration of bold colour and simple shapes allows the viewer to appreciate this inspiring land upon which we dwell. Her work complements the modern, clean lines of today’s interior design. Commissioned work allows for personal colour choice.
Christine continues to be grateful for the opportunity to express herself on paper and canvas, and she looks forward to showcasing her work in her native Perth County.
