As an artist working in acrylics/multimedia I am interested in exploring the endless possibilities of my craft. I would describe much of my work as experimental and myself as the accidental tourist, pushing the limits of form, texture and aesthetic sensibilities.
Given what I would describe as the generous forgiveness of the medium, there can be no failures, rather the opportunities for further growth and the insights formed of enlightened accidents which ultimately lead to new and exciting explorations. My philosophy of the success or failure as an artist is in the knowledge of knowing where to start and when to stop. Herein lies the rub between painting as a rote pastime or a path toward those endless possibilities. Inside all great art lies poetry. Inside all great artists a poet. It is indeed the medium which is the message.
