Heather loves getting her hands dirty, whether pottering about in the garden or in the studio. Her pieces combine textures and colours, from the rocky shores of Lake Huron to the blowing grasses and perennials in her garden and meadow.

Her work combines the magical meaning of plants and botanical science to create modern and thoughtful, sculptural and functional ceramic art. Her pieces feel like a treasured heirloom – that favourite piece that makes food taste better and displays florals with reverence and elegance.

Heather is a graduate of the University of Guelph and a former prop builder at the Stratford Festival. She is honoured to have her art being enjoyed and used across homes in North America.
