Photography
Mary-Jo started out by creating wire sculptured trees. Something was missing, she wanted to create what she saw around her. Everything around us is three dimensional which meant trying to come up with an idea that emulated that.
After some experimenting, Mary-Jo came up with three-dimensional photography. Using plastic, wood, wire, acrylic paint and acrylic medium, she enhances photos printed on canvas. Recently she has been experimenting with photos printed on tissue paper.
Mary-Jo lives in Stratford and enjoys traveling with her husband and getting inspiration for her art.
