Northern Birdhouses has been a member of AITP since 2018 and we have been selling our birdhouses since 2017 from our shop on Etsy. We have now sold over 460 birdhouses online to customers throughout Canada and the United States from Newfoundland to New Mexico. We have achieved over 100 five star ratings for our work and continue to build birdhouses from scratch at our small workshop near Stratford, Ontario.
We started this business after we retired. We enjoy nature and bird watching and decided to make a few birdhouses for our property in the country. They soon became nice gifts for friends and relatives.
It was exciting to see how much the birds enjoyed visiting and nesting in the birdhouses. Also, we liked the challenge of creating unique designs inspired by our travels to Colonial Williamsburg, the Atlantic Coast, Quebec, and Europe.
