I am a visual artist, living in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. I work in oils, acrylic, encaustic, oil pastels, and mixed media, in wood, and metal. Works are in private collections in Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa, Stratford, New York, New Hampshire, in other US states, and Provinces.
I have been a shepherd & herdsman, professional chef (New York & Toronto), cabinetmaker, boat builder, musical instrument maker (harps and harpsichords), IT consultant (Royal Military College, Morgan Stanley NYC), and art studio manager (University of Toronto) — while continuing to create artwork throughout.
I have studied with Klaas Van Weringh, Don Maynard, at St Lawrence College, the New York Academy of Art (NYC), the University of Iowa and the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica Venezia, most recently on a Residency in Venice. I have been a member of the Arts and Letters Club (Toronto), the Art Science Collective, the Artists Network, and currently, Stratford Art in the Park. I have shown at juried exhibits at the Arts and Letters Club, Riverdale Art Walk, Kingston Collective and Open Studio, Art Noise, Nuit Blanche (Toronto), in New Hampshire, New York City, and held one-man exhibits at the Performing Arts Centre (Toronto), in Kingston, and Stratford, ON.
Life is short – but wonderful. Keep working!
