Is a quintessential paint Ontario artist!
He has spent time in many interesting parts of the province painting his favourite scenes. From the city streets of Toronto to the tranquillity of Muskoka to the roar of Niagara Falls.
Robert’s professional career began shortly after moving to Key West, Florida. It was the best “art school” a budding artist could hope for with its thriving artist community. He soon was showing at the most acclaimed gallery in town. After 20 years of painting that island he then moved to Anna Maria Island, Florida where he participated in over 100 juried outdoor shows, winning numerous awards and fans.
Drawing inspiration from Mother Nature and classical architecture, Robert’s paintings pay tribute to his community at large.
To date, his finely-crafted paintings have been exhibited at galleries, museums and are in world wide collections.
Life brought Robert back to Ontario and he has recently opened his own studio/gallery in a historic building located in the village of Hensall where he teaches paint classes.
Robert is proud to be part of Stratford Art in the Park. Watch for more paintings of the town coming soon!
